We noted above that the logical structure of a CD-R can be identical to what we've already discussed in the sections on CD-DA and CD-ROM. But CD-Rs (and CD-RWs) also support an extended "non-sequential" volume and file structure as specified in ISO 13346 and ECMA-167. All ECMA standards are freely available from http://www.ecma.ch/.
